As a team, the Warriors shot a 302 (fifth-highest mark of the season), including a one-under 71 from Vestman, three-over 75 from
Sabel Imesch (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. / Grosse Pointe South), five-over 77 from
Avery Howard (Muskegon, Mich. / Reeths-Puffer), and seven-over 79 from
Maisarah Hezri (Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia). Wayne State's fifth golfer,
Orianna Bylsma (Montague, Mich. / Montague) carded a 14-over 86.
Wayne State now turns its attention to the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, May 1. Picked seventh for the East Region in the most-recent rankings, the top 15 squads will qualify and play on May 8-10 in Springfield, Ill. (Panther Creek Country Club) for one of four NCAA Regionals.
