Cedric Drenth competed in the second day of the ITA Cup, representing the Wayne State University men's tennis team. Drenth would go on to participate in the third day as well.
After claiming victory in their day one match, Day (Southampton, United Kingdom) and Drenth (Sulzbach, Germany) would be defeated by Luis Iriarte and Eduardo Cohen (Saint Leo). On the singles side, Drenth would prevail against Pedro Liborio (North Georgia) to advance to the consolation semifinals. The senior would claim victory against Seth Newman (Saint Thomas Aquinas). There woud be not consolation final match played
