KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (7-8 overall, 5-3 GLIAC) capped off the first half of conference play nicely on Saturday with a sweep at Parkside (7-9 overall, 3-5 GLIAC). The Warriors did so with set scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-19.
"It was a great response today after a tough night on the road last night," said head coach
Tim Koth. "Our serve and pass game was much more in control today. I'm very proud of the effort by the Warriors today."

HOW IT HAPPENED (-18, -23, -19)
- Wayne State has now won three matches in a row when coming off a loss this season.
- The Warriors hit .178 with 40 kills and 19 errors on 118 total attacks.
- The Rangers responded with a clip of .092 on 33 kills, 22 mishaps and 120 swings.
- WSU opened with its best individual set at .229 in the first (14-6-35).
- UWP's best individual period was the second at .147 (12-7-34).
- Wayne State has been on the right end for the last two matches in Kenosha and four of the last five.

Kayla Dulgar made it six double-doubles on the fall thanks to 28 assists and 12 digs.

Kendyl Andrews (11 digs) has reached double-digit digs for all but three outings this fall.

Kayla Giroux was at it again as she hit .409 with 11 kills and only two errors on 22 attempts.
