Men's Tennis Finishes Play at Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team has completed competition at the Cancer vs. Everybody Invitational. The Warriors ended the tournament with an 11-8 record in singles play and a 2-2 record in doubles play.

The event was hosted by Toledo at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The Green and Gold were joined by Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky, Case Western, Illinois Chicago, and host school Toledo.

WSU had six participants this weekend. George Day (Southampton, United Kingdom), Cedric Drenth (Sulzbach, Germany), Tom Wasner (Altenholz, Germany), Luis Klaus (Brühl, Germany), Sam Knowles (North Shields, Tyne and Wear, England), and Benjamin Hill (Düren, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany)
