Men's Tennis Concludes First Day of ITA Midwest Regional Championships

The Warriors competed in both singles and doubles matches.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team has finished the first day of play at the ITA Regional Championships. Entering day two, the Warriors have a 9-3 record in singles, and a 2-1 record in doubles.

Cedric Drenth continues to impress as he sits at 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles. Drenth's doubles partner, George Day, is also seeing success with the same record on both sides.

WSU will begin day two at 9:00 AM on the singles side, as Drenth, Day, and Tom Wasner will all compete in the draw A round of 16. Moving over to the doubles side, George Hill and Cedric Drenth will continue play on the draw A at 2:30 PM. In draw B, Benjamin Hill and Sam Knowles will also return at 2:30 PM
