FROM HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"The women of Wayne State had an impressive performance at the Jayhawk invite. Our pack running was really strong, with
Emilee Rudlaff,
Robin Bresolin,
Anna Gdowski, and
Sarah Greb finishing within three seconds of each other up front.
Ella Showerman also had a very good racing, going out hard and hanging on very well.
Remi Flanz and
Sydney Smith also had strong races and personal records, as did
Meagan Verellen and
Reese Hansen."
"Three of our top runners trained through and did not race this week, so it was nice see some folks step up who haven't been in scoring positions for us in the past. This was a good effort across the board, but if want to achieve our biggest goals in the championship meets, we need to get sharper and compete a little bit better. That is what we'll aim to do moving forward."
