FROM HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"This was a smaller meet than we're used to, so the challenge was to stay focused and keep up our intensity from start to finish.  The women definitely did that, and we got a nice win over our friendly rivals from SVSU."

"Remi (Flanz) had a tough start to the season, but she is really coming on at the right time and really crushed it this morning with a huge PR.  Reese (Hansen) has had a really nice start to her college career, and she showed some grit at the 6K distance. Paige (McArdle) is progressing well after an early season injury, and Jessica (Denver) has made some huge strides this fall."

UP NEXT
The Wayne State women's cross country squad will prepare for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship on Saturday, October 25.  This year's league meet will be held in Grand Rapids, Mich., at the Calvin University Cross Country Course, with Davenport University playing host.  The women's 6K will begin at 11:00 AM.
