Women's Track And Field Concludes First Full Day At GLIAC Championships

Justice wins 10K race for third consecutive year.

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's outdoor track and field squad is in sixth place (out of 11 schools) after the first full day at the 2025 GLIAC Championships being held at the GVSU Outdoor Track and Field Stadium.

The host Lakers lead with 64 points, while Northern Michigan is in second place with 51 points. Following the Wildcats are Saginaw Valley State (26 points), Parkside (24), Davenport (18), Wayne State (17), Purdue Northwest (14), Ferris State (10), Michigan Tech (8), Lake Superior State (2) and Roosevelt (0).

Wayne State had 17 student-athletes qualify for Friday's finals in addition to the events just being contested on the final day of competition. Warriors recorded 11 all-time top-10 marks, including Keneisha Thomas breaking her own school record in the 400m hurdles.

Senior Reagan Justice won the 10k race for the third consecutive year to record 10 of WSU's 17 points on the day.
