DETROIT -- The 16th-ranked Wayne State University men's swimming and diving squad fell to sixth-ranked Grand Valley State 172-128 on Saturday afternoon inside Matthaei Natatorium. The dual meet served as the first such event at home for the Warriors during the 2025-26 campaign.
"Today winds down the winter training segment of our season, and by welcoming the GVSU Lakers was a great test for our student-athletes, said head coach
Sean Peters. We competed hard and definitely enjoyed the many, many challenges that they gave us. Overall, the Warriors gave it their best, and that's all I can ask for after everything they poured into their training and the competitions. Looking forward to the next tests we face in the winter semester!"
