DETROIT -- Hosting Davenport for Senior Day, the Wayne State University men's and women's swimming and diving squads both took care of business inside the Matthaei Natatorium. The 18th-ranked men were victorious over the Panthers thanks to a score of 141-78 while the women came out on top with a final ledger of 128-90.
"The Warriors had a wonderful showing on Senior Day, with many season-best performances, and with some qualifying diving performances," said head coach
Sean Peters. "I am very excited for tomorrow and conference in two weeks, and big time congratulations to our seniors celebrated today — Elly, Megan, Alex, Muhammed, Rose, Matt, Mitch and Diana. Many thanks to the families, staff and Warrior athletes who came out to support us in this less than tropical day."
