ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The 18th-ranked Wayne State University men's swimming & diving squad competed in its regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon. However, WSU fell 143-92 to host Oakland University inside the OU Aquatic Center.
Wayne State's new national ranking (18th - 88 points) for Division II was released on Friday and is according to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association's (CSCAA) top 25 poll.
"In our last contest against OU on this blustery afternoon, we swam really well after the wonderful event on Friday with Senior Day, said head coach
Sean Peters. I honestly did not know what to expect, but, in the end, there were some great races, and I was proud of our effort. Next up, GLIAC's!"
