GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 16th-ranked Wayne State University men's swimming and diving squad took care of business on Friday afternoon in its first action of 2026. The Warriors defeated 10th-ranked Calvin (Division III) by a score of 136-104 inside Venema Aquatic Center thanks to winning eight of a possible 13 events.
"This afternoon was really strong for us coming out of the gate," said head coach
Sean Peters. "I am impressed with the men going up against a strong Calvin team, the women showed some great resilience, and diving was really exceptional. I'm very proud of our Warriors!"
