QUOTING COACH MORROW
"Case (Western Reserve) is coming in for a Fall Invitational tomorrow (Friday) and we are excited to host them. Case is always a well-coached team that plays extremely aggressive so it will be a good test for us early on in the doubles. We will have to be on our game and be ready because they will bring a lot of excitement and energy. Singles wise they are a very good team that has a lot of guys who play at a really high level so it will be a good test for us. We are hoping that most of the guys will play two singles and two doubles matches which will be good preparation for the guys moving forward in the fall. Overall, we are super grateful that Case is willing to come play us."
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
Case Western Reserve starts its 2026-2027 campaign after an impressive 2025-2026 season where the Spartans fell to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in the national semifinals of the NCAA DIII National Championships. Overall, the squad went 29-9 a season ago and reached the finals of the University Athletics Association (UAA) championship falling to top-seeded University of Chicago. The Spartans return 16 rostered athletes from last year's squad.
