DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's golf team is ready for its next chapter of the fall season, Albion College's Marshall Masters on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 9-10. The two-day tournament will be played at Marshall Country Club in Marshall, Mich. with 18 holes each day, including a 9 a.m. first tee time on Friday and 10 a.m. shotgun start on Saturday.
"This will be a good test for us to get ready for Findlay," said head coach
Mike Horn. "I'm glad we can compete this weekend before we go to Findlay. We played in this event last year with Albion and it was a good additional competition for the guys to get the juices going. With only three events left in the fall, it is time to start playing like we expect to and I look for all nine of our guys to play well. We've had a good 10 days of practice."
