Women's Indoor Track & Field To Participate In GVSU Big Meets Friday And Saturday

WSU throwers to compete Sunday in Windsor.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University women's indoor track and field squad will be sending 16 athletes to the GVSU Big Meet Friday and the GVSU Big Meet Saturday. In addition, five throwers will be competing on Sunday at the University of Windsor.

On Friday, women's running events start at 9:47 a.m., while field events commence at 11:30 a.m.

Saturday will feature the Distance Medley Relay, plus freshman Ava Peters in the 3,000m race.

Scheduled to compete in the GVSU Big Meet on Friday are:
