DETROIT -- Two swimmers and two divers from the Wayne State University women's swimming and diving team will travel to Evansville, Ind., next month for the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championships on March 10-14 at the Deaconess Aquatic Center.
The two swimmers selected by the committee were:
Graduate Elly Belmore (St. Clair Shores, Mich. / Lakeview)

15th seed - 400 IM - 4:22.74
21st seed - 200 back - 2:00.96
Senior Diana Muccioli (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. / Grosse Pointe North)
23rd seed - 1650 free - 17:11.76
30th seed - 1000 free - 10:16.90
37th seed - 500 free - 5:01.60
In addition, sophomore
Alicia Viaches (East Lansing, Mich. / Haslett) and freshman
Ariana Heugh (Macomb, Mich. / Dakota) will compete on March 10th in the NCAA Diving pre-qualifications.  Each diver will do six dives on each board with the top eight on each board automatically qualifying for the Championships. A maximum of 22 divers will compete on each board (Thursday - women's three-meter; and Saturday - women's one-meter).
