YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's swimming & diving team went 1-2 on Friday-Saturday for the Eastern Michigan Classic inside the Eagles' Jones Natatorium.  The Warriors bested Aquinas 282-85, but fell against the likes of EMU (257-106) and Toledo (256-113).

"It was a nice experience to see our athletes try to go a little further than they did last week, and for a large majority of the team, we accomplished that," said head coach Sean Peters.  "We made some adjustments as a staff to progress, and there will be more to come.  Overall, I was very pleased and I do think they are on the right path."
