Women's Soccer Inks Two Junior College Standouts

Clyde and Siler will join the Warriors this fall.

DETROIT -- First-year head women's soccer coach Doug Steinard has continued to fill out his roster for the inaugural season this fall by adding two junior college transfers.  Joining the Warriors are forward Jess Clyde (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Huron) from Schoolcraft Community College and midfielder Molly Siler (Mt. Pleasant, Mich. / Sacred Heart Academy) from Delta Community College.

"This group of transfers will continue to build on our roster," stated Steinard.  "Each of them brings valuable skills to the program.  We are excited to add all our transfers to a great freshman class."

2025:  Started all 16 matches played ... tallied 32 points on 11 goals and 10 assists, with a team-best four game-winning goals to garner Second Team NJCAA All-America recognition ... scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 4-1 triumph at Jackson (Community) College ... had a five-game goal-scoring streak from Sept. 24 through Oct. 8 (6 goals, 3 assists) ... netted two goals, including the game-winner in a 5-0 triumph over St. Clair County Community College (SC4) ... recorded a seven-game point streak from Sept. 19 through Oct. 15 ... credited with game-winning goals at Owens C.C. and vs. Grand Rapids C.C. ... led the Ocelots in total shots (70) and shots on goal (44) ... finished second on the squad in both assists and points, while ranking third in goals ... selected the NJCAA Region 12 Tournament MVP, All-Region and All-MCCAA First Team ... served as a team captain.

High School:  A 2023 graduate of Ann Arbor Huron High School ... was a three-year letterwinner for coach Murali Nair since freshman year was cancelled due to COVID ... totaled 50 goals in three years of high school, along with 43 assists for 143 points ... helped the River Rats to a 12-3-2 mark as a senior by recording 68 points on 25 goals and 18 assists ... received All-District recognition all three seasons ... named Honorable Mention All-Stte as a junior and Second Team All-State as a senior by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association ... aided in AAHHS compiling a 32-12-6 record in her three seasons ... served as a team captain as a senior.
