Biography

GLIAC Interview with Maisarah after winning medalist honors.

2023-24:  Named First Team All-GLIAC ... competed in 23 of the team's 26 rounds and 10 of its 11 tournaments with the squad's second-best scoring average at 76.6 ... that mark of 76.61 is good for third in program history behind Beca Vestman at first and second ... was among the top-10 finishers in three tournaments (tied with Fric for second on team) including a tie-for-second of 45 at the Cavalier Classic (148, 76-72, +4), third at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite (152, 76-76, +8) and a tie-for-fourth of 84 at the William Beall Fall Classic (218, 72-74-72, +2) ... that trio of top-10 placings was part of seven in which Hezri played well enough for the top 25 (second on the squad) ... the 54-hole mark of 218 in Ohio ranks second in school history behind Vestman's 214 from the spring of 2023 ... her lowest round of the season was a 72 and it happened four times ... those four instances were round one of the William Beall Fall Classic (Oct. 2), round three of that same tournament (Oct. 3), round one of the Emerald Coast Collegiate (March 10) and round two of the Cavalier Classic (April 16) ... placed 25th of 43 players at the GLIAC Championships with an 18-over 162 (77-85) ... notched the best round-one average of anyone on the team with a clip of 76.2 in those 10 rounds.

2022-23:  Joined the WSU golf squad in January of 2023 ... in just her fourth collegiate tournament, was GLIAC Medalist, the first in school history, by three strokes with a 136 (71, 65) helping the Warriors to first place in stroke play ... earned First Team All-GLIAC honors ... that 65 (-7) and 136 (-8) at the GLIAC Championship are the lowest 18- and 36-hole marks in program history ... finished with 15 rounds and six tournaments under her belt with a scoring average of 79.4, including a clip of 78.8 in round two ... also shot below par in round one of the GLIAC Championship with a 71 (-1) ... tied-for-28th of 81 golfers at the NCAA East Regional with a 230 (75-77-78) ... then carded a 238 (78-79-81) in the program's first ever NCAA Championships appearance.
