Biography

2023-24:  2023-24 recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award ... Played in 17 rounds and seven tournaments, three of which resulted in a top-10 showing as well as four among the top 25 ... turned in a scoring average of 76.76, the fourth-best mark in school history ... aside from winning at Ferris State in the fall (mentioned later), Fric also tied-for-fourth of 68 golfers at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite (153, 80-73, +9) and tied-for-ninth of 84 at the William Beall Fall Classic (224, 76-77-71, +8) ... all three of those events happened consecutively ... named GLIAC Women's Golfer of the Week on Sept. 27 ... the honor came after she won medalist honors at the Lady Bulldog Fall Invite, becoming the second Warrior to do so at that tournament in as many years (Sabel Imesch) ... Fric did so with a two-round score of 146 (+2, 70-76) ... the fourth top-25 outing was a tie-for-12th of 69 at the Davenport Panther Invitational (156, 79-77, +12) and came on the heels of her three straight top-10 placings ... tied with Vestman for the team lead in rounds below par with two ... that includes the 70 at FSU and a 71 in round one of the William Beall Fall Classic ... her 146 at Ferris State and 224 at Findlay are both tied-for-fifth in program history, respectively.

Pre-WSU (2019-2023):  Played four years for North Carolina State before coming to WSU as a graduate transfer ... was a three-time (2020, 2021 and 2022) WGCA Scholar All-American ... earned a spot on the Dean's List every semester at NCSU ... Chi Alpha Sigma member (National College Athlete Honor Society).

2022-23:  Competed in three tournaments in her final season with the Wolfpack ... recorded a 77.56 stroke average in nine rounds played ... made season debut at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational from Oct. 17-18 ... best finish was 58th at the Collegiate Invitational in Mexico; shot a 241 (+25) in her first tournament of the spring ... season-best score of 225 (+9) at the ICON Invitational to help the Pack team set 18-hole and 54-hole tournament records; shot a two-under 70 in the opening round of that tournament.

2021-22:  Saw action in eight tournaments, compiling a 74.17 scoring average over 21 rounds played ... finished fourth with a three-under par 213 at the Landfall Tradition, which was highlighted by a career-low 68 (-4) in the opening round ... also  marked her first career top-10 and top-20 finish ... fired six other rounds at even or under par throughout the season ... 18 of her 21 rounds counted towards the team tournament total.

2020-21:  Saw action in two tournaments ... best finish came at the Palmetto Intercollegiate (T46th) with a 240 (83-75-82) ... also played in the Briars Creek Invitational (68th) with a 234 (79-80-75) ... five of her six rounds counted toward the team’s tournament total in those respective events ... compiled a 79.00 stroke average over six rounds ... was additionally a part of the team’s match play lineup in the Big Four Challenge at Lonnie Poole.

2019-20:  Played in five of the Wolfpack's seven tournaments with a 74.40 stroke average ... shot a season-low 70 in the second round of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational ... season-low tournament total of 222 (+6) came at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, which led to her best finish of the season (T34th out of 96 players) ... totaled a combined three even/under par rounds on the year, as 14 of the 15 rounds she competed in counted towards the team’s tournament total.

High School:  A 2019 graduate of Gimnazija Šiška-Ljubljana ... won the Slovakian and Slovenian Junior International Championships in 2016 ... member of Slovenian women's team for the 2018 World Amateur Team Championship and the European Team Championships in 2015, 2017 and 2018 ... career low is a 63 (-8) at GC Arboretum ... finished T58th at the European Ladies Amateur Championship in 2018 ... was ranked as high as No. 257 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
