NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP: Claimed seven First Team All-America honors and earned three national titles in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, and 400 medley relay ... both of his butterfly times (47.25 in the 100, 1:44.54 in the 200) broke school records ... swam the third leg of the 400 medley relay, which broke the national record and edged Ouachita Baptist by .06 seconds ... placed third in the 400 individual medley, setting a school record (3:52.34) ... came in fourth in the 200 IM (1:47.56) after setting an NCAA record in the prelims (1:47.22) which was later broken in the finals ... swam the third leg of the 200 medley relay, which finished second (1:27.97) and came in under the national record but .72 behind Ouachita's foursome ... anchored the third-place 800 free relay (6:34.99) which set a school record.
GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Became a five-time conference champion ... set school and conference records in the 200 butterfly (1:47.27) ... won the 100 fly (48.75) after setting school and GLIAC records in the prelims (48.68) ... swam the third leg of both the 200 (1:29.80) and 400 (3:18.38) medley relays, which broke WSU and GLIAC records ... led off the first-place 800 free relay (6:41.64), which also set school and conference records, and made a national "A" cut in the 200 free (1:40.34) ... won the consolation final (ninth overall) of the 500 free (4:37.64).
