2008-09: Swam in all eight regular-season meets ... finished 12th in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.69), 14th in the 400 individual medley (4:28.91) and 15th in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.03) at the GLIAC Championship ... also anchored the preliminary 400 free relay, which qualified fifth (3:42.50).

2007-08: GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke (2:12.11) and 14th in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.53) ... placed 24th in the preliminary 200 individual medley (2:05.55) ... swam the breaststroke leg of the preliminary 400 medley relay, which qualified fifth (3:38.49).

High School: A 2007 graduate of Lake Shore ... was a three-year varsity letterwinner ... posted a record-setting time of 1:03.03 in the 100 breaststroke as a senior.

Personal: Full name--Jay Koehler ... born May 10, 1989 ... son of Mark and Holly Koehler ... has a brother, Corey, and a sister, Christy, who swam for WSU from 2004-06 ... is undecided on academic major ... named to the Coach[apos]s Honor Roll (term gpa 3.0-3.49) for Winter 2009.
