2008-09: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP: Collected five First Team All-America accolades, four of which came on relays ... anchored the national champion 400 medley relay, which set an NCAA meet record and edged Ouachita Baptist by .06 seconds (3:14.15) ... led off the third-place 800 free relay and the fourth-place 200 free relay, both of which set school records (6:34.99, 1:21.07) ... swam the second leg of the school-record setting 400 free relay, which broke the school record (2:57.34) ... eclipsed his own school record with a fourth-place finish in the 200 free (1:37.18) ... took an Honorable Mention All-America with a 12th-place time of 44.68 in the 100 free, a school record ... finished 18th in the preliminary 50 free, missing the cut by .04 seconds (20.42). GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Was a four-time conference champion ... joined three relays - 400 free (2:59.65), 800 free (6:41.64), and 400 medley (3:18.38) - which took first place and set school and GLIAC records ... also finished first in the individual 200 free (1:40.25) ... placed second in the 50 free (20.95) and third in the 100 free (45.56) ... led off the second-place 200 free relay (1:22.39), which broke the school record. SEASON: Joined the 200 (1:23.12) and 800 (6:47.13) free relays Dec. 6 at the Eastern Michigan Invitational, both of which set school records ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2007-08: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP: Earned three All-America awards including two First Team honors ... finished 10th in the 200 freestyle (1:40.14) after setting a school record in the preliminary swim (1:39.80) ... led the 800 freestyle relay (6:48.61), which finished second and broke the WSU record by 2.21 seconds ... also led the 400 free relay, which placed fourth and broke the school record in both the prelims (3:02.65) and finals (3:01.52) ... eclipsed the WSU standard for the 100 free in both relays as well (45.67, 45.62). GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Finished third in the 100 freestyle (46.34) and 200 freestyle (1:41.75) ... placed 11th in the 500 free (4:43.70) ... anchored the fourth-place 800 free relay (6:52.27) ... led off the 400 free relay, which placed third (3:05.98) ... finished 35th in the preliminary 100 free (46.44). SEASON: Swam the second 100 of the 400 free relay Nov. 30 at the Eastern Michigan Invitational, which set the school record (3:04.24) eventually broken at nationals ... earned GLIAC All-Academic Team honors.

2006-07: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP: Led off the seventh-place 800 freestyle relay (6:53.68) to earn First Team All-America honors ... finished 32nd in the preliminary round of the 200 free (1:45.00). GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Finished third in the 200 free (1:42.65), seventh in the 100 free (47.57), and eighth in the 500 free (4:46.30) ... swam the second leg of the second-place 800 free relay (6:50.82), which set a WSU record, and the third portion of the 400 free relay (3:06.01), which finished second. SEASON: Anchored the 400 freestyle relay (3:04.67) at the Eastern Michigan Invitational, which set a school record later broken at nationals.

2005-06: Finished second in the 200 free (1:43.71) earning 17 points ... placed sixth in the 500 free (4:47.10) at the GLIAC Championship earning 13 points ... finished 11th in the 100 free (48.57) earning six points ... was a member of the second place 800 free relay team (6:59.43) of Veiga, Troyer and Leix ... was a member of the third place 400 free relay team (3:10.68) of Blanco, Giblin and Bergstrom.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Chippewa Valley High School ... lettered all four years ... earned MVP honors three times and All-County honors twice ... was a two-year captain ... helped his team finish first in the league his senior year.
