2009: Ran in eight races as a freshman with her best finish being 41st at the Slippery Rock Invite with a time of 26:13.1 … began her WSU career by placing 106th (23:26) at the Flyer 5k Challenge … posted back-to-back top 70 marks at the Detroit Titan Invite (68th) and the Cardinal Invite (59th) … placed 103rd at the GLIAC Championship with a time of 25:31.7 … was Wayne State’s fourth runner at the NCAA Midwest Regional finishing in 95th place.
2008: Attended Delta College, but did not compete since school does not offer cross country.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Freeland High School … was a four-year letter winner for the Falcons and coach Dan Craig… named team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior … earned All-Conference and All-County accolades all four years at Freeland … had a time of 19:22.4 and came in 24th place at the 2005 Division III MHSAA State Cross Country Championships … placed 13th at the 2006 MHSAA State Championships with a time of 19:13.8 … as a senior, finished in 37th place at the 2007 MHSAA State Championships … also lettered four times in both basketball and track at Freeland … garnered All-Conference accolades in track as a distance and mid-distance runner her sophomore, junior and senior seasons … helped lead the Falcon’s basketball team to a district championship as a senior … was an All-Conference Honorable Mention performer as a junior and senior.
