Stevens ... born September 7, 1991, in Gary, Ind. ... son of Sarita Stevens and the late Barry Stevens ... father, who passed away in 2007, is the second all-time leading scorer in Iowa State history (2,190 points) and played two games in the NBA in 1993 after being drafted in the 2nd round of the 1985 draft by the Denver Nuggets ... father, who was inducted into Iowa State's athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 and had his No. 35 ISU jersey retired, served as a captain on the 1984-85 Cyclone squad which played in the NCAA Tournament ... uncle, Jeff Grayer, is the all-time leading scorer in Iowa State history (2,502 points) and played nine seasons in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets scoring 3,257 career points and grabbing 1,294 career rebounds … has one brother Jairus, and one sister Arriel ... is working on his master's degree in information systems management.
