The Wayne State University women's cross country squad placed 21st (out of 39 teams) at the 18th Annual Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday. The Warriors, ranked 19th in the nation, participated in the Gold 5K race where they competed against nationally ranked teams including: the NAIA's SCAD Atlanta in 15th place (ranked second nationally) and Madonna in 16th place (ranked first nationally). WSU and Ferris State were the lone GLIAC teams in the competition.Ā The Bulldogs finished in 29th place.
