Senior Katie Smith (Macomb, Mich. / Utica Eisenhower) turned in her best two-match stretch of the season last week in the loss to Michigan Tech and sweep of Roosevelt.  Smith hit .400 with 26 kills and only four errors on 55 total attacks to go with three service aces, eight digs and one block assist.  Among those 26 kills were a season-high 16 against the Lakers, which tied her career high set as a freshman in 2023.
