Detroit -- The Wayne State men's tennis team (8-6, 3-0 GLIAC) defeated the visiting Michigan Tech Huskies (4-9, 0-4 GLIAC)
8-1.
The Warriros swept all three doubles flights and took five of the six singles flights, including
Jason Chen in straight-sets fashion at the fourth singles flight.
Jon Groszek won at the sixth position 6-0, 6-1.
At doubles, the top team of
Aman Gill and
Melvin Joseph won a hard-fought match 9-7 over the Huskie duo of DerYossida and Andres Sandholm
The Warriors will play at home again Saturday against Lake Superior.
