Warrior Men's Tennis Drops 7-2 Match at No. 8 Saint Leo

WSU loses its second straight match in Florida.

SAINT LEO, Fla.
-- The Wayne State University men's tennis team won two of the three doubles matches Friday at No. 8 Saint Leo University, but the Warriors ultimately fell 7-2 to the Lions.

Wayne State (0-4) won at the top and third flight in doubles against nationally-ranked Saint Leo.

Senior Melvin Joseph (Northville, Mich. / Northville) and junior Trey Keating (Troy, Mich. / Troy) won at the top flight in doubles, earning an 8-6 win.

Freshman Stephane Robineau (Paris, France) and sophomore Mohamed Fazyl Kechai (Paris, France) also won in doubles, as the duo posted an 8-2 win at the third flight for a third straight victory as a doubles team.

WSU dropped all six singles matches against Saint Leo (7-2).

The Warriors return to the court Sunday for a 1 p.m. match against Wheaton College in Tampa, Fla.
