DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's tennis squad (9-9 overall, 4-0 GLIAC) blanked conference opponent Findlay, 9-0, on Sunday morning inside the WSU Multipurpose Facility in Midtown Detroit. The Warriors are on a four-match winning streak and have notched six victories in the last nine matches.
DOUBLES RESULTS - Junior
Clement Charriere (Marseille, France) and freshman
Taylor Vane (Southampton, England) won 8-3 over John Kidd and Oriol Ferrer at the first doubles flight, while junior
Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich.) and
Harvey Reed (Winchester, England) topped Carlos Blanco and Reid Wynkoop, 8-3, at No. 2 doubles.

Mohamed Fazyl Kechai (Paris, France) and freshman
Derek Sammons (Coldwater, Mich.) posted an 8-4 victory against Nicholas Kopylec and Trevor Majalani at the third doubles position.
SINGLES RESULTS - Reed bested Blanco, 6-2, 6-0, at the third singles flight, while freshman
Jason Potter (Sterling Heights, Mich. / International Academy East) garnered a two-set win (6-1, 6-2) over Wynkoop at No. 6 singles.

Nicholas Ang (Rochester, Mich.) defeated Majalani, 6-1, 6-4, at the fifth singles position, and Vane topped Ferrer, 7-6(7-1), 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
- Carlson beat Kopylec, 6-3, 7-6(7-5) at the fourth singles position, while Kechai won in three sets (6-3, 2-6, 6-4) over Kidd at the first singles flight.
UP NEXT - WSU will host 37th-ranked Grand Valley State on Saturday at the WSU Tennis Courts. The match is slated for noon.
