Women's Cross Country Takes 13th at Midwest Regional

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Wayne State University women's cross country concluded its 2017 season with a 13th place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional event hosted by Cedarville University, scoring 338 points on Saturday.

Junior Jackie Feist (Beverly Hills, Mich. / Birmingham Groves)  was All-Region, taking 13th with a time of 21:58.6. 
 
Freshman Julianna Manserra (Toronto, Ont. / Bishop Strachan) was next after Fiest, coming in 82nd for the Warriors (23:48.0). Sophomore Teresa Diehl (St. Clair Shores, Mich. / Warren Regina) finished in 97th (23:58.6).

Freshman Emma Willett (Holgate, Ohio, / Holgate) was 108th (24:11.9), with freshman Gabbi Willett (Holgate, Ohio / Holgate) coming in 110th (24:17.3). Freshman Lyndsey Braman (Flint, Mich. / Powers Catholic) was 122nd (24:30.4). Senior Haley Boccomino (Macomb, Mich. / Center Line) was 139th (24:51.1).
