DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (8-10, 5-3 GLIAC), shutout Lake Superior State (7-12, 1-8 GLIAC) 9-0 in GLIAC conference play on Saturday at the WSU Tennis Courts. Today marked the last home matches of the season, and the last home matches for two Warriors.
SINGLES RESULTS
- Mats Westkamp (Born, Germany) won his No. 1 singles match 7-6 (6-4), 6-3.

Clement Charriere (Marseille, France) defeated Lake Superior State's No. 2 singles player 6-1, 6-1, in his final home match as a Warrior.

Taylor Vane (Southampton, England) beat Lake Superior State's No. 3 singles player 6-0, 6-1.

Griffin Mertz (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington) conquered his No. 4 singles equivalent 6-1, 6-1.

Harvey Reed (Winchester, Hampshire, England) won his match in three sets, prevailing 4-6, 6-1, 10-8.

Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich.) won 6-0, 6-1 in his final home match of his collegiate career.
DOUBLES RESULTS
- Westkamp and Vane won their No. 1 doubles match, defeating Lake Superior State's No. 1 doubles team 8-4.
- The duo of Charriere and Mertz beat the Lake Superior State's No. 2 doubles team 8-1.
- Carlson and Reed won their No. 3 doubles match 8-2.
