Box Score DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (6-6 overall, 5-2 GLIAC) won its final GLIAC regular-season match, 6-1, against visiting Northwood University (3-13 overall, 2-5 GLIAC) on Saturday morning at the WSU Tennis Courts.
 
DOUBLES
 
At No. 3 doubles, freshmen Daniel Grey (Wiesbaden, Germany) and Joe Steele (Beverly Hills, Mich.) won their match, 6-1.
 
Sophomores Dom Spicer (London, England) and Luke Laws (Sunderland, England) won the No. 1 doubles match, 6-3.
 
Juniors David Solar (Prague, Czech Republic) and Donovan Nguyen (Shelby Township, Mich. / Utica) won their No. 2 doubles match, 7-5.
 
SINGLES
 
At No. 6 singles, Solar won his match 6-0, 6-1.
 
Laws was victorious in his No.3 singles match, 6-1, 6-2.
 
Nguyen notched a victory at fifth singles, 6-2, 6-4.
 
At No. 1 singles, Spicer won 7-6, 5-7, 10-4.
 
At No. 2 singles, Grey won 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.
 
Freshman David Pluszczyk (White Lake, Mich. / Lakeland) fell at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-2.
