Women's Golf Concludes Play at Findlay

The Warriors finished 12th at the William Beall Fall Classic.

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Wayne State University women's golf program finished its fourth event of the fall with the William Beall Fall Classic on Tuesday and shot a 968 (327, 318, 323) and were 12th in of the 17-team field. The 54-hole event was played at Findlay Country Club (Par 72 / 6,115 Yards).

LEADING THE WAY
Grand Valley State won the team trophy with a 898 (300, 302, 296), while Olivia Stoll from GVSU captured medalist accolades with a 208 (71, 71, 66).

WSU RESULTS
Beca Vestman (Madrid, Spain) continued to lead the way for the Green & Gold and shot a 237 (83, 73, 81), while Sabel Imesch (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. / Grosse Pointe South) finished with a 239 (81, 78, 80).

Avery Howard (Muskegon, Mich. / Reeths-Puffer) tallied a 243 (79, 83, 81) and Logan Potts (Norton Shores, Mich. / Mona Shores) posted a 249 (84, 84, 81).

Natalie Groom (Orangevale, Calif. / El Camino Fundamental) collected a 249 (84, 84, 81).

Orianna Bylsma (Montague, Mich.) competed as an individual and finished with a 267 (88, 89, 90).

TEAM RESULTS
Behind GVSU was the hosts Findlay (901), while UIndy (909) was third. UMSL (910) and Tiffin (931) rounded out the top five.

UP NEXT
The Warriors will finish the fall campaign with the Davenport Panther Invitational on Oct. 15-16.
