Basketball Tickets On Sale for 2022-23

Women's basketball will host Ashland on Nov. 11 to open the new season at the Wayne State Fieldhouse.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's and women's basketball teams will be opening year two inside the Wayne State Fieldhouse this weekend.  The women's basketball squad will host Ashland on Friday, and the men's squad will begin its home schedule on Sunday against Malone as part of the GLIAC/GMAC Crossover.

The Warriors will have nine home GLIAC doubleheaders this winter with women's games beginning at 5:30 PM on weekdays and 1 PM on weekends.  Men's games will begin at 7:30 PM on weekdays and 3 PM on weekends.  Outside of conference play, the men's squad will host Malone, Tiffin, Michigan-Dearborn and Ashland, while the women's team will entertain Ashland, Malone, Carson-Newman, Walsh and Michigan-Dearborn. 

Faculty and staff receive a fifty percent (50%) discount off a regular-season ticket by contacting the box office for purchasing information.  The box office is located inside the Wayne State Fieldhouse or can be reached via phone at (313) 577-4074.

In addition to single-game and season tickets, WSU is offering ticket plans to help fans enjoy Wayne State basketball this season.  The Green and Gold will offer Weekends With the Warriors and GLIAC Premium ticket packages.

 
Weekend With The Warriors Package
The Weekends With the Warriors ticket package includes admission to four doubleheaders.  Fans will get to see the Warriors men's and women's teams take on Parkside (Dec. 11), Michigan Tech (Jan. 7) and Saginaw Valley State (Jan. 28).  This package also includes the men's game against Ashland and the women's team taking on Michigan-Dearborn on Dec. 30.

GLIAC Premium Ticket PAckage
The GLIAC Premium Package will feature the final four GLIAC doubleheaders with contests against Ferris State (Jan. 21), Saginaw Valley State (Jan. 28), Davenport (Feb. 16) and Grand Valley State (Feb. 18).
