Women's Golf Stays in Sixth in NCAA Regional Rankings

This is the second release of the regional lists this season.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University women's golf squad is ranked sixth in the East Region in the second set of regional rankings as announced on March 18th.  The Warriors have competed at the NCAA Regionals each of the last three seasons (2018, 2019 and 2021) it was held.  The 2021-22 academic year is WSU's eighth sponsoring women's golf.

The East Region will send five teams to the regional competition.  The NCAA Championships will be hosted by North Georgia at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga. on May 10-14.  Selections for the NCAA Regionals will be announced on April 26.

WSU will return to the links at the Findlay Spring Invitational on March 21-22 in Lexington, Ky. after spending practicing in Texas over Spring Break.
