Men's Cross Country Adds Butler University Transfer

Romeo graduate Jack Wilson will be a Warrior this fall.

DETROIT -- Wayne State University head men's and women's cross country, and women's track & field coach Grant Lofdahl has announced the addition of transfer Jack Wilson (Romeo, Mich. / Butler University) to the 2022 men's cross country squad.

"We recruited Jack when he was a high school athlete, and have always known him to be a talented, gutsy runner.  When he reached out about a possible transfer from Butler to WSU, it was exciting and he seemed like a natural fit for our program.  Staying healthy will be key for him, and we are going to work to keep him training well and feeling good.  He can absolutely be a difference maker for our men's team."
