FROM HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"Our young men have battled all season and competed for each other. They did that again on a cold, muddy day at Parkside, and while we came up short of our ultimate goal of qualifying for the NCAA Championships, I'm proud of the effort and the progress these guys have made."

"Jared (Platt) ran an outstanding race, putting himself in contention early and making moves late to earn an all-region finish. Very impressive for a guy who didn't crack the top-100 in his previous two regional races. Glen (Davis) didn't have his best day, but he was gutsy and mentally tough on a very difficult course, and top-30 in the Midwest is still a solid finish. Sean (Pettis) was tough and consistent from start to finish this year, and in this race. He improved 30 places from his freshman regional meet. Ty (Nagy) has been a great captain and leader for the guys all year, and his perseverance through injuries sets a terrific example. He fought extremely hard for the team in this race. Andrew (Yax)'s regional debut was solid, he worked together with Ty and competed at a high level in his first 10K on a cross country course."

"We are still a young team, with only one senior racing today and our eighth and ninth guys being freshman and a redshirt freshman. These young men accomplished a lot and learned a lot this year, and I'm proud of every one of them. We'll be back with a vengeance next year."
