DETROIT -- Facing Davenport and Ashland for the 2023-24 home opener, the Wayne State University men's swimming and diving team took care of business. The Warriors defeated the Panthers and Eagles with scores of 132-100 and 148-84, respectively. Next up on the schedule, WSU will be at Northern Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m.
"Tonight was very exhilarating, with so many dynamics at work," said head coach
Sean Peters. "On the men's side, we had numerous swims that were improvements from last year. The night was highlighted by Khalil's pool records in both the 500 free and 1000 free. I am proud of our Warriors this evening and am looking forward to growing and going forward from here."
