FROM HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"Our men put a great effort out there today, but ultimately we came up a little bit short of our goals. Half of our guys were in their first GLIAC championship race, and as a group we hung in there pretty well.
Tyler Buchanan wasn't having his best day out there, but an off day for him is still pretty good, and to be All-GLIAC three times is a great accomplishment.
Sean Pettis is having a phenomenal freshman season and he crossed the line as the top true freshman in the conference today.
Carson Nicoletti and
Brady Heron had a grind in the second half of the race, but they both ran tough. I was really impressed with
Jared Platt's toughness, after losing a shoe early in the race and fighting through it to finish the scoring.
We will refocus and be well prepared to go out there execute our best race of the season at regionals."
