AUGUSTA, Mich. -- Playing on the same course that will host the GLIAC Championships in the spring, the Wayne State University women's golf team is in fifth place out of 12 following round one of the Davenport Panther Invitational.  Ting-Yu Kuo (tied-for-fourth) and Claudia Portillo (tied-for-10th) are both among the top 10 through 18 holes at Stonehedge North.

Northwood holds a four-stroke advantage on top of the team leaderboard, but spots two through five are separated by a total of just four shots.
