GROVE CITY, Ohio -- The Wayne State University women's golf team capped its two-day stay at Ohio Dominican's NC4K Classic on Tuesday afternoon at Pinnacle Golf Club. The Warriors finished in sixth place for the 16-squad field with a two-round score of 647 (+71, 309-338). Individually, WSU was paced by
Claudia Portillo (157, +13, 76-81), who was part of the three-way tie-for-12th.

The freshman Portillo secured her sixth top-25 showing in seven tournaments while no other Warrior has more than three (Kuo). Portillo also leads the team in scoring average with a mark of 75.6 through 17 rounds. Kuo is right behind her for second on the squad at 77.6.
