BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Freshman Ting-Yu Kuo (Taipei, Taiwan / Taipei Municipal Zhong-zheng Senior) of the Wayne State University women's golf team shot a one-over 73 on Tuesday for round one of the 2025 NCAA Championship Finals.  That score put her in a tie-for-35th with two rounds to play.  Wednesday, the rookie Warrior will tee off at 12:50 p.m. pacific time.

Aside from a double bogey on hole five, Kuo birdied nine and made par on the other 16 holes, a course that's 6,164 yards long overall.

There's a two-way tie-for-first at the top of the individual leaderboard between Anderson's Zoey Iglesias and Torrie Bowman, both of which carded a five-under 67.

Team wise, the top eight teams (which will move on to the match play portion) in order are currently Anderson, California State San Marcos, Flagler, Dallas Baptist, CSU East Bay, Findlay, Wingate, and Central Missouri.
