BIG RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's golf team is in seventh place among a 13-team field following round one of Ferris State's Bulldog Fall Classic at Katke Golf Course.  The Warriors shot a 318 (+30) on Saturday, just two strokes outside of the top five.

Pacing WSU individually were Claudia Portillo (Madrid, Spain / IES Ortega y Gassett) and Ting-Yu Kuo (Taipei, Taiwan / Taipei Municipal Zhong-zheng Senior), who are among the eight-way tie-for-16th with a 78 (+6).
