QUOTING HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"This was a tough race for our young squad. Parkside is always a tough course, and warm weather and a lot of mud added to the challenge today. Ava has been very consistent, even when she's not feeling the greatest, and she had another solid race. October handled her first 6K quite well, and mixed it up with some more experienced runners, and Kendall had her second clutch performance in a row. Katie and Emilee hung in there pretty well to finish the scoring. We did a pretty good job overall of pack running. We had our struggles on the course today, but Cedarville and Northern Michigan are good teams and took it to us. We beat Cornerstone which is an excellent NAIA program, and still finished third in what was a rough race for us, and I believe down the homestretch this team can still be very good. We are definitely looking forward to the Warrior Challenge on our home course in two weeks!"
