2009: Ran in four races as a freshman with one top-15 finish… placed 39th (22:08) at the Detroit Titan Invitational in his first competition at WSU … finished in 24th place (27:03.9) at the Cardinal Invite … ran the Slippery Rock Invitational course in 27:42.7 to come in 15th place … ended his inaugural season at Wayne State by placing 59th (27:38.5) at the Lucian Rosa Invite.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Lake Orion High School … earned four letters in cross country for the Dragons and coach Stan Ford … also lettered three times in wrestling and track … named Lake Orion’s Athlete of the Year as a senior … captained the cross country, wrestling and track teams … was a three-time state qualifier in cross country … as a wrestler, finished fourth at the state finals in the 125 pound weight class in 2008-09 and seventh in the 119 pound weight class in 2007-08.
