* GAMES 3-4 STORYLINES
The Wayne State University men's basketball squad continues it season-opening stretch of four games in eight days with two contests in three days this week.
Wayne State began its 93rd season of intercollegiate basketball with a pair of home victories last week.
The Warriors defeated Central State, 70-53, on Tuesday before downing Lewis, 79-66, on Thursday.
Sunday's contest at Bellarmine is WSU's lone road game in November as the Warriors will not hit the road again until a Dec. 9 game at Saginaw Valley.
On Tuesday, Wayne State will conclude its November schedule with a home match against Marygrove.
* ON THE BENCH
David Greer, just the ninth head coach in school history, is in his 10th season at WSU with a 129-121 record. He is the fifth-longest tenured coach at WSU.
Scott Davenport is entering his sixth season with the Knights with an overall mark of 92-56.
Marygrove's David Sichterman compiled a 60-99 mark in five years as the varsity head coach with the Mustangs.
* ALL-TIME SERIES
Wayne State defeated then No. 1 Bellarmine, 84-74 in double overtime, in Detroit last season to take a 2-1 lead in the all-time series. The teams played a home-and-home series during the 2005-06 campaign with each school emerging victorious on its home court.
This will be the sixth meeting in the last seven years between WSU and Marygrove. Last year's 20-point margin (79-59) was the closest game in the series.
* SCOUTING BELLARMINE
The Knights were ranked fourth in the national pre-season polls and had a 63-61 win at Xavier on Nov. 6.

* SCOUTING MARYGROVE
The Mustangs snapped a three-game losing streak with a 99-78 win on Wednesday over Great Lakes Christian College. Their first three contests were against Eastern Michigan, Oakland and Grand Valley.
