GAME 10 & 11 STORYLINES
Wayne State enters the post-holiday schedule riding an eight-game winning streak which surpasses last season's seven-game streak following a setback at Bellarmine, while this year's lone defeat was the season opener to the Knights.

The last nine-game winning streak started on Dec. 19, 1998, with a 80-62 win over Minnesota-Duluth and concluded with a 92-79 victory over Gannon on Jan. 23, 1999, when WSU was known as the Tartars.

WSU will play its next four games on the road including its final two non-conference contests.  The Warriors visit Wisconsin-Parkside on Dec. 29 and Lewis on Dec. 31, before resuming league play at Hillsdale (Jan. 5) and at Findlay (Jan. 7).

ALL-TIME SERIES
Wayne State has won three of the last four meetings against the UWP Rangers but still trails 8-5 in the all-time series.  WSU has a 2-4 mark in games played in Kenosha.

The Warriors have won three of the last four contests vs. the Flyers and hold a 1-2 record in games in Romeoville.

OHIO DOMINICAN RECAP
Ike Udanoh finished just shy of a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds in a 73-51 win over Ohio Dominican on Dec. 15.  He also matched his career-high with five steals, a mark he first achieved the previous week against Saginaw Valley State.

Cole Prophet had 15 points, scoring in double figures for the seventh time in eight games, with five assists.

After a six-point WSU run erased an early 4-2 deficit, the Warriors led for the remainder of the game.  Wayne State was ahead by as many as 14 points in the first half and went into the locker room with a 34-25 advantage.  Udanoh totaled 10 of his 23 points in the opening 20 minutes.

Up 40-31 three minutes into the second half, the Warriors went on an 11-2 run and led by no fewer than 14 points the rest of the way.

TIFFIN RECAP
Prophet and Stacey Waters combined for 50 points on 17-of-38 shooting in an 82-70 victory on Dec. 17.  Prophet poured in a career-high 26 points and dished out eight assists, both career-highs.  Waters had a season-best 24 points as the Warriors defeated the Dragons for the 11th time in as many meetings.

Utilizing only six players all afternoon, Wayne State trailed by one at halftime but outscored Tiffin, 46-33, in the second half.

ON THE BENCH
David Greer, just the ninth head coach in 94 years of WSU basketball, is in his 11th season at WSU with a 157-130 record.

He is the fifth-longest tenured coach at WSU. The 22 victories by the Warriors in 2010-11 were the most since the 1998-99 NCAA qualifying squad compiled a 25-5 record.

Wayne State's 14 GLIAC wins last year are the most since the same 1998-99 team took first place with a 16-3 mark.

Luke Reigel has a record of 99-134 in his ninth year with the Rangers.  Lewis' Scott Trost has a 92-64 mark in his sixth season with the Flyers.  In his 15th year as a collegiate head coach, his all-time mark stands at 245-150 including four seasons at Elmhurst and five years at Illinois-Wesleyan.

SCOUTING WISCONSIN-PARKSIDE
The Rangers won four straight games to start the year including three against GLIAC foes (83-68 over Saginaw Valley, 71-70 vs. Northwood, and 73-72 against Michigan Tech).

UWP then lost three consecutive matches until a 93-49 win over Northland International on Dec. 6.

Sophomore guard Jordan Mach leads five Rangers averaging in double figures (14.4 ppg) and has team-high totals of 21 triples and 23 assists. Freshman forward Ziggy Riauka is shooting a team-best 64 percent (32-of-50) from the floor and is averaging 10.6 points per game.  Riauka leads UWP with nine blocks.

Junior forward Conrad Krutwig has a team-high 45 rebounds.

Sophomore guard Colt Grandstaff  hit a last-second triple in the victory over the Huskies.

SCOUTING LEWIS
The Flyers began the year with four consecutive wins before dropping a pair of home league games in early December to Southern Indiana (61-59) and Kentucky Wesleyan (74-71).

Senior guard Chris McClellan is averaging a team-high 15.4 points per game.  He also leads Lewis in three-pointers made (25) and assists (22).

Freshman guard Ryan Jackson is second in scoring after pouring in 23 points in the 79-53 victory over Olivet Nazarene on Dec. 10.
