The Warriors, who are 11-3 in conference play, are a half-game in front of the Huskies (11-4).  The last time Wayne State had 11 conference wins in a season was in 2002-03.  The school record for conference victories in a season is 13, which happened twice (1980-81, 1994-95).

The Warriors are on the road against Northwood on Thursday and at Saginaw Valley on Saturday as they begin playing GLIAC North foes for the second time this season.  After a two-game road trip, WSU returns home for its final three home games, starting with Michigan Tech on Feb. 14.

Talisha Bridges scored a game-high 22 points to lead Wayne State.  It was her 14th straight contest scoring in double figures.  Cochran notched 13 points, Brittany Streetman added 11 points and Phaebre Colbert grabbed 10 rebounds for WSU in the win.
