CALI, Colombia -- Wayne State University swimmer
Barbara Munoz (Yumbo, Colombia) competed in seven events last month at the
First Junior Pan American Games which were held in her home country. Munoz finished with one silver medal and four bronze medals.
On Nov. 26th, Munoz swam the leadoff leg in the third-place women's 4x100m free relay event.
The following day, she was a member of the third place 4x100m mixed free relay quartet for Colombia.

Munoz competed in two events on Nov. 28th. She finished fourth individually in the women's 100m free final in a time of 56.96. Munoz also was a member of the third place 4x100 mixed combined relay team.
On Nov. 29th, she finished 10th in the women's 50 free swimming a 26.72 to place second in the consolation finals. On that same day, Munoz earned a silver medal as a member of the women's 4x200m free relay quartet.
She concluded her participation in the Games on Nov. 30th as a member of the third place 4x100m women's medley relay quartet.
